Critical race theory originally began as a way to look at the law through a lens of racial constructs and evolved to become a lens that you could use to look at racial constructs in any area of American life. If you study it, it is kind of like studying law…cold, academic, factual, intentionally free of logical fallacies at a pretty amazing level of detail. Pretty much what you’d expect from something written by law scholars. CRT in itself really doesn’t have a lot of storytelling; in fact, that is one of the deficits that critical race academics have expressed concern about. That’s what I’m expressing concern about in this article.
